Winterfest 2015

Vocal Ensemble was invited to open the holiday season at Winterfest  (Adventure Landing in Jacksonville Beach).  We sang Christmas Carols, slid down the ice-covered slide and ATTEMPTED to ice skate.  Floridians trying to ice skate is one of the funniest things ever!!  They were really good sports. Several of them hit the ice and one injured a wrist, but other than that, a fun time was had by all!!

Fair Share Deadline

In my world, students and their parents have to make an "education donation" so that we can run our program during the year.  Today is the deadline to make your final "fair share" payment to the FHS Choral Boosters for the year.

This student cleaned out her piggy bank to make it happen.

WalMart Grand Opening 2015

Our newest neighborhood WalMart opened on Wednesday, November 11th - Veteran's Day.  Brianna volunteered to represent Fletcher High and sing the National Anthem while an ASL3 student signed it.  The store manager donated $4,000 to FHS on our behalf.  Thanks, Brianna, for always being performance-ready!

AICE Pinning Ceremony 2015

Ladies Chamber Chorus strutted their stuff at the AICE Pinning Ceremony this year.  They performed "Let There Be Peace on Earth" and brought the crowd to tears.  So proud of them!!
